We are excited to announce that we are starting our fruit, meat, nut, and cheese fundraiser!
The MinnTex company sells some of the best oranges, grapefruit, apples, and pears you will find. As we are getting back to more normal Band activities this year, there are several expenses that the band is responsible for that allows our great students to participate in a variety of musical opportunities throughout the year. Every product sold helps the students and our program out tremendously. Even selling a few items really can add up!
This year MinnTex is offering an online option for sales, in addition to the paper form. This makes it super easy to sell to family, friends, and coworkers as you can forward this Fruit/Meat/Cheese Fundraiser Order Link to them. There are three pages of products so if you are looking for the meat and cheese you will need to move to the 2nd and 3rd pages. When purchasing online people will need to input a student name so that we know who will pick up those products so be sure to include your student's name when forwarding the link.
If you would prefer to sell with a paper form we have those available as well. Just let us know that you would like one and we can get one to your student.
Orders should be returned no later than November 5th so that we can get our order placed in the necessary window. Products will be delivered in the second week of December and we will let you know the exact date when it is confirmed with MinnTex.

We have the opportunity to honor and thank our Senior Marching Band members at Sr. Band Night this Friday, October 15th!
Senior Marching Band members and their parents/guardians will be introduced after the Sophomore Football Game. You will line up in alphabetical order(last name) and when it's time, walk the track, receive a commemorative program, and receive a carnation. *find the program attached*
Seniors and Parents/Guardians are to meet at the South end of the track by 6:30 PM to be safe, as the end time of the sophomore game can be unpredictable.
We Thank our Senior Wahawk Marching Band members and families for all of their great efforts and support throughout their time in the Band! This is a special night for you!

Presently, the West High School Band is in the process of seeking sponsorships to help fund important educational opportunities for West HS Band Students, like music clinicians, fees for music festivals, providing supplemental instruction for the marching band, student leadership training, providing music and choreography for our students, and offset the cost of our semi-trailer expenses. We want to invite organizations and individuals to consider becoming a two-year sponsor with a few options of sponsorship levels to consider.

Below is a link to the Band Materials registration form (please don't fill this form out until the Aug 12-13 registration nights so we can answer questions if you have them during the process).
Woodwind and Brass students will pay a Band Materials registration fee of $30, and Percussion students will pay a Band Registration Fee of $50 (higher due to marching sticks/mallets needed for the season). In this form, students can also purchase marching shoes, gloves, mark their instrument rental needs/fees (for marching band, concert band, jazz band), and family members will have the opportunity to order additional band shirts. Please contact a Band Director if you have a question in this process.
