Presently, the West High School Band is in the process of seeking sponsorships to help fund important educational opportunities for West HS Band Students, like music clinicians, fees for music festivals, providing supplemental instruction for the marching band, student leadership training, providing music and choreography for our students, and offset the cost of our semi-trailer expenses. We want to invite organizations and individuals to consider becoming a two-year sponsor with a few options of sponsorship levels to consider.

Due to the Varsity Homecoming FB Game being cancelled (but 10th grade game still happening at 5:30 PM), that changes the plans for our Marching Band performance Friday, Sept. 11
The plan now is to have a very small group of Marching Band students perform only the Star Spangled Banner and Fight Song before the Varsity game. We have contacted students individually about performing with this small group.
Students who signed up for ticket vouchers can still pick these up and use them if you would like to attend the sophomore game (one of the vouchers would now need to be used for any students not performing). Mr. Kleinheinz has the vouchers - so see him if you haven't received yours yet.
We were surely excited to have the Band perform at the regular Homecoming Game. We now look forward to our Sept. 25th and October 9th performances!
The document includes the Fall Marching Band rehearsal/performance schedule, as well as our Indoor and Outdoor school band rehearsal safety routines and protocols for all Bands (grades 9-12).
Below is a link to the Band Materials registration form. Woodwind, Brass, and Percussion students must pay a Band Registration Fee of $15 (Band t-shirt is part of what this fee covers). Percussion students are also responsible for the Percussion Fee (helps pay for extra sticks, mallets, and equipment maintenance). In this form, students can mark their instrument rental needs/fees (for marching band, concert band, jazz band), family members will have the opportunity to order additional band shirts, and students may order a music stand (if haven't already). Please contact a Band Director if you have a question in this process.

Jazz Band I and Jazz Band II will be presenting a concert on at 7:00pm on Thursday, December 19. This concert will feature guest artist Soul Sherpa. Be sure to check out this great concert!
