Marching Band Chaperone & Uniform Trailer
The Wahawk Marching Band performs at all West High home football games and goes on the road 3-4 weekends per fall. Parents who chaperone and help with the trailer take attendance anytime the buses depart for a new location, supervise the kids going through the uniform trailer, help make sure that the kids have put the uniform on correctly, and make sure that the uniform is folded up correctly when it is returned to the trailer. These parents also help move the pit equipment onto the field for performance at away performances. Parents who volunteer here get in that performance for free!
Concessions
The Concessions stand is our biggest source of income during the year. We have a lot of fun and easy jobs that need to be done. If you are a people person you can work up front at the counter or if you prefer to work out of the limelight we have a lot of important behind the scenes jobs that need to get done. If you are willing to help us out use the link below to sign up!
NEIBA Jazz
The West High Band annually hosts the NEIBA 4A Jazz Band Festival the first weekend of March. We need help running the concessions stand as well as taking tickets at the front door. All parents who volunteer will be able to see their student perform and will gain free admittance!
State Marching Band
West High will host the State Marching Contest on off-numbered years! Be on the lookout for updates!
